Application steps
STEP 1: APPLICATION
Complete the volunteer application
STEP 2: RELEASE WAIVER AND NON-DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT
You will receive an email from docusign, please complete and finalize the Release Waiver and Non-Disclosure Agreement.
STEP 3: Background Check
Any volunteer opportunities that involve interaction with our residents or program participants require a background check. It is imperative to keep our residents safe. If you are interested in volunteering as Love Leader (L2) or in another program capacity please complete the steps above. A few things to know about the Investigative Consumer Report. The report includes a Social Security Number Verification/Address History, Nationwide Sex Offender Registry, Multi-State Criminal Search, and Single County Services. Although this form mentions credit, we do not check your credit report. Your information will remain confidential. All paperwork will be sent via docusign. Just so you know we can’t accept background checks from other providers.
STEP 4: ORIENTATION AND TRAINING
Once we have received your documents, you will be contacted by DDF to discuss orientation and training opportunities.

Love Leader (L2)
The Love Leader (L2) program is a mentorship program for each of our residents. The L2 program is a mentor who has a strong passion to serve, is willing to love unconditionally, and is able to actively listen. The program is truly a commitment to friendship and healing.
