Founded by Cody “CoJo” Johnson and his wife, Brandi, A Different Day Foundation was built on a simple belief: when people are given an opportunity, that opportunity can change the direction of a life.

Cody Johnson
Born and raised in Sebastopol, Texas, Cody’s story was shaped by family, music, hard work, rodeo, and the communities around him. His journey is a reminder that success is rarely achieved alone — and that the people and communities who help us along the way deserve to be remembered.
Today, the foundation exists to give that same spirit of opportunity back to others.

Those values remain at the heart of our foundation. We support young people and communities while remaining especially connected to the rural, Western, and Texas communities that have played such an important role in Cody’s story.

Music gave Cody a way to find his voice, build a career, and connect with people far beyond his hometown.
We believe every young person deserves the opportunity to discover what they can become — whether that path is through music, education, sports, agriculture, rodeo, the arts, or another passion.
Our foundation works to help create those opportunities and give young people the support they need to pursue their potential.

The foundation brings together a growing network of country music artists, record labels, entertainment companies, industry professionals and philanthropic partners united by a shared commitment to giving back. Artists including Cody Johnson, Morgan Wallen and Riley Green, alongside partners across Warner Records Nashville, Big Loud Records, Music Corporation of America (MCA), Sony Music Nashville and BBR Music Group, are part of a broader country music community using its reach and influence to support children, families and communities in need.
